Once a comparison is set up the way you want, you can save it to your history and hand the client a clean PDF. The page itself also doubles as a live screen-share view.
Saving A Comparison
Give the comparison a title (and optionally a client name) in the top bar, then click Save. The button buffers for a moment and then shows Saved to History beside it so you know it's stored.
Re-saving a comparison with the same title and client name updates the existing one instead of creating a duplicate. So you can tweak the numbers on a call and save again without piling up copies. The confirmation clears the moment you edit anything, so a stale "Saved" message never misleads you.
Reopening And Deleting From History
Click History in the top left to open your saved comparisons. Each row shows the title, the client, when it was last saved, and the lender logos used in that comparison. Click a row to reopen it.
To delete one, hover the row and click the trash icon, then confirm. Deleting a comparison you don't currently have open leaves your working comparison untouched; deleting the one you're editing clears the page to a fresh comparison.
Start a brand new comparison from the New comparison button at the bottom of the History menu.
Preview And Export
A single Preview & export button sits at the bottom right. Click it to open the report preview: the PDF on the left, a Report sections sidebar on the right. Toggle sections on or off and the preview rebuilds in place, then Download PDF saves exactly what's on screen. Your brokerage name and logo sit at the top (pulled from your organization settings) and the assumptions line sits at the bottom, so it's ready to share with a client or walk through live on a screen-share.
The report always shows the comparison table: each scenario as a column with your best option highlighted (the existing loan keeps a small Baseline label), and monthly payment, interest over term, and balance at renewal, with the differences against the baseline as green or red chips.
Five more sections can be toggled on or off:
- Savings summary - a headline band for your best option: interest saved over the term, the monthly equivalent, any payment change, and the extra equity it builds against the baseline.
- Equity built - a row showing how much principal each option pays down over the term.
- Payoff acceleration - a row showing each option's effective amortization, with a chip when a better rate at the same payment shaves time off.
- Balance paydown chart - each option's balance drawn over the term on one chart, so the client can see which one pays down faster.
- Readvanceable credit room - for any option you ticked as readvanceable, the credit room available now and at renewal. It only appears when at least one option on the board is readvanceable, and a plain mortgage option shows a dash so the rows still read straight across.
A section greys out in the sidebar when the numbers can't support it (for example, the savings summary needs an option that actually beats the baseline).
