Renewal templates have five flavors: an initial template plus four milestone templates that auto outreach uses for the drip at 12, 7, 3, and 1 months.
Where To Edit
- Go to Settings > Templates.
- Select the Renewals tab.
You'll see your initial template plus four tabs: 12 Month, 7 Month, 3 Month, 1 Month.
What Each Template Is For
- Initial - used for one-off manual renewal sends (when you send to a single client without the drip).
- 12 Month - first auto outreach drip email at 12 months to maturity.
- 7 Month - second drip email at 7 months.
- 3 Month - third drip email at 3 months.
- 1 Month - final drip email at 1 month.
The drip stops the moment a client replies, regardless of which milestone they're at. See How Renewal Auto Outreach Works (The Drip).
Tone By Milestone
Tune the tone for the timeline:
- 12 month - soft, "let's start the conversation."
- 7 month - sharper, "now's the time most banks are opening their renewal offers."
- 3 month - urgent, "decision window."
- 1 month - final, "let's get this booked."
Available Merge Variables
Same as the refinance templates:
{{client_first_name}},{{client_full_name}}{{current_rate}},{{best_rate}}{{maturity_date}},{{months_to_maturity}}{{broker_first_name}}
Variants
You can save multiple variants of the initial template (for the one-off manual sends). The milestone templates each have one body.
