You don't manually re-screen clients on a calendar. BrokerPlus auto-queues the next screening based on the client's risk level.
The Cadence
| Risk Level | Re-Screening Cadence |
|---|---|
| High | Every 12 months |
| Medium | Every 2 years |
| Low | Every 3 years |
| None | No recurring re-screening |
The cadence is set at the time of the original screening based on the risk rating checklist you filled out.
When The Next Screening Auto-Queues
The next re-screening is scheduled the moment a screening completes. Months later, on the scheduled date:
- We run the screening automatically using the most current source data.
- We compare the result to the previous screening.
- If anything's changed, we surface it.
You don't have to remember to do anything.
When A Future Screening Flags New Info
If a future re-screening returns new information that didn't show up before, you get a notification in the bell icon:
- A new sanctions hit.
- A new PEP match (e.g., the client recently became a PEP).
- New adverse media coverage.
The notification links you straight to the flagged screening so you can review and decide whether to take action.
See Notifications You'll Receive for everything that can trigger a notification.
Manually Re-Screening Earlier
If you have a reason to re-screen before the scheduled date (e.g., something changed about the client, you've heard news), just run a new screening manually. The next auto-queued screening will then be re-scheduled relative to the manual one.
Skipping Re-Screenings
If you set the risk level to None, no recurring re-screening is queued. Use this sparingly - usually only for client relationships that have formally ended.
