Linking a realtor to a client is a small move that deepens the relationship with the realtor referral source. Their info appears on every report you send for that client.
When To Use This
- A realtor referred the client to you. Show them you're keeping them informed.
- You work in a referral relationship where the realtor wants visibility into the client's mortgage journey.
- You want the client to see that their realtor is in the loop too.
Linking A Realtor
- Open the client's detail view.
- Click the Reports tab.
- Find the Linked Realtor section.
- Click Add Realtor (or Change if one is already linked).
- Pick from your realtor list, or Add a new realtor if they're not there yet.
- Save.
What The Realtor Sees On The Report
When a report goes out for this client, the realtor's name, headshot, and contact info appear in a dedicated section. The framing is "your realtor partner" - making it clear the client has a coordinated team.
The realtor doesn't get a copy of the report by default. They see it if the client shows them.
Managing Your Realtor List
The realtor picker shows realtors you've added previously. You build the list over time - every time you add a new realtor while linking, they're saved for next time.
To add a realtor without linking to a specific client, just go through the link flow on any client and Add a new realtor, then Cancel the link.
Changing Or Removing The Linked Realtor
- Change - click Change in the Linked Realtor section, pick a different realtor.
- Remove - click Remove. Future reports won't include realtor info.
