Both equity and consolidation reports are sent programmatically from the client's profile. You don't have to attach anything to an email - BrokerPlus handles the send and the client gets a polished interactive view.
Where The Send Buttons Live
- Open the client's detail view.
- Click the Reports tab.
- You'll see two send actions:
- Send Equity Report
- Send Consolidation Report
(Consolidation only appears if you've captured the client's debts. See Adding Client Debts.)
Email Vs SMS
For both reports, you can choose email or SMS:
- Email - always available.
- SMS - only available if RingCentral is connected. The SMS includes a link to the same interactive web report.

Equity: One-Time Vs Monthly
The Equity tab has two paths:
- Send Now (one-time) - sends a single equity report immediately. Use for ad-hoc moments (after a meeting, a phone call, a check-in).
- Toggle Monthly On - adds the client to the monthly batch. They receive a fresh equity report every month going forward, automatically.
You can have both - send a one-time now AND enable monthly.
Consolidation: One-Time Only
The consolidation report is always a one-time send. There's no monthly toggle. If you want to send it again later (e.g., the client's debts changed), just click Send again.
Shareable Link
When you send via email or SMS, the client gets a link to the report. The link is token-gated - only the recipient can open it. If they share the link with someone else (their spouse, advisor), that person can view too (the token doesn't enforce a single device).
