You control which sections show up in the reports you send. Each client can have their own configuration, and there's some smart auto-hiding for one-time reports too.
The Six Section Toggles
On a client's Reports tab, you'll find a Manage Contact Preferences card with six toggles:
- Home Value - estimated property value hero card.
- Home Equity - equity figure with debt breakdown.
- Additional Properties - other properties the client owns (rentals, second homes).
- Potential Savings - refinance opportunity and monthly savings.
- Borrowing Power - max HELOC accessible.
- Mortgage Payments - paydown chart and payments-made summary.
Each is on by default. Toggle individual sections off if you don't want them in this client's reports.
How Toggles Apply
- Monthly reports - your toggles apply to every monthly report sent to this client.
- One-time sends - your toggles still apply, plus the auto-hide logic below.
Toggle changes take effect immediately for the next send.
Auto-Hidden Sections In One-Time Reports
For one-time sends, BrokerPlus automatically hides sections that would weaken your pitch:
- Negative monthly savings → Potential Savings section is auto-hidden. No point showing a report where the math doesn't work.
- Negative equity → Home Equity section may be suppressed.
- No additional properties → Additional Properties section doesn't render.
- No debts captured → Consolidation-specific math is omitted.
This is one-time only - monthly reports respect your toggles literally. The auto-hide logic is specifically about not sending a one-off pitch that undercuts itself.
Previewing Before Sending
Click Preview sample report on the preferences card to see exactly what the client will get. Always preview after toggling sections.
Per-Client, Not Global
These toggles are per-client, not a global default. If you want a consistent shape across all clients, set them when you onboard each client (or after the first send when you've seen what looks right).
