The Reports page in the sidebar is dedicated to your recurring equity reports - every client currently set to receive a recurring report on a cadence you choose: monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, or annually. monthly is the default.
Key Metrics
Top right, two buttons: Edit Report opens the report editor (subject line and which sections show) - see Customizing What's In A Report - and Add Report enrolls clients. Below them, a 2x2 grid of counts sits beside the monthly engagement snapshot:
- Subscribed clients - how many clients are on recurring reports right now, across all cadences.
- Sent this month - how many reports have gone out so far this month.
- Total views - cumulative report views across all subscribers.
- Interactions - clients who actively updated their valuation, address, or balance from a report. This is the meaningful engagement metric - these are clients telling you their info has changed, which is a buying signal.
Unsubscribes for the month show in the engagement snapshot next to the grid, alongside views and interactions.
What "Interactions" Really Means
Don't confuse Interactions with Total Views. Views include any open. Interactions specifically counts when a client edited a value in the report. Those edits flow back into your dashboard:
- New valuation → kept as the client's perceived value (it doesn't overwrite your estimate) and surfaced as a discrepancy to review. See Client Perceived Value.
- New balance → updates the mortgage balance.
- New address → updates the property address.
Every interaction also triggers a notification to you and stays logged here regardless of what you do with it. See Notifications You'll Receive. If a client's perceived value is left unreviewed, their next report carries a one-time note inviting a conversation about the difference.
The Recipient List
Below the stats, every subscribed client is listed with:
- Name, last report date ("N/A" if none has been sent yet), and last interaction date.
- A next report column showing the date the next report will send, with the local send time underneath (for example "9:00 AM PT" or "9:00 AM ET"). Recurring reports go out at 9am in the client's local timezone, worked out from the property address on file. if a client's address can't place them in a timezone, the send falls back to your own timezone.
- An inline cadence dropdown - monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, or annually - to change that client's cadence right from the row.
- A status - Active once a report has gone out, Awaiting first send before that, or Paused if you've paused them. A paused row shows a Resume button in the status column, and its next report reads "Paused".
- A Preview Report button that opens a live preview of that client's recurring report, with a sidebar to tailor which sections it includes. See Customizing What's In A Report. Clicking anywhere else on the row opens that client's full candidate card - the same one as on the Refinance and Renewals pages.
Changing the dropdown takes effect immediately. each cadence repeats from the last send: monthly every 30 days, quarterly every 90, semi-annually every 182, annually every 365.
A status filter above the list (All statuses / Active / Paused) lets you narrow to just the paused clients, or hide them.
How Recurring Sends Work
When you turn a client on (or enroll them), the first report sends automatically on the next cycle - one full interval after you enroll them. you don't have to trigger a manual first send, and after that it repeats on the chosen cadence, measured from the last send.
Adding Clients
You can add from a client's profile:
- Open the client's detail view.
- Click the Reports tab.
- Toggle send recurring equity reports on, and pick a cadence - monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, or annually.
- The first report goes out on the next cycle (one full interval out, depending on the cadence you pick), then on that cadence.
Or add in bulk from the Reports page with Add Report. The first step is a searchable list of every client who isn't enrolled yet - search by name, email, or address, with each client's deal status and property shown on their row. A Filters button beside the search narrows that list by three things you can stack together (and with the search) to slice down to exactly who you want:
- Eligible savings - only clients with a green (eligible) savings opportunity.
- Additional property - only clients who own a property beyond their subject property.
- Available home equity - only clients whose home is worth more than they owe on the mortgage. Clients with no equity drop out; so do clients whose property value hasn't been pulled yet.
- Deal status - a checklist of the deal statuses present among your not-yet-enrolled clients, each with a count. Tick one or more to add only clients in those statuses.
Selections stick as you change filters, so you can search-and-select one slice, switch filters, and keep adding. After you pick clients you review their property values, then choose how to send.
The Add Report modal's last step asks how you'd like to send, with three options:
- Send a one-time report - opens an email preview for one eligible selected client. After the preview loads, Send to N sends a personalized one-time report to the eligible recipient set. Nothing recurring is scheduled.
- Send recurring report now - expands a cadence dropdown, then opens the same personalized preview. After the preview loads, Start recurring for N sends the first personalized report and enrolls the eligible recipients on the cadence you picked.
- Send recurring report later - expands the same dropdown. Nothing goes out today; the first report sends one full interval out, then on the cadence you pick.
Clients who cannot receive a report, such as a client with a blocker or no usable email, are excluded before the preview opens. The preview shows one eligible client's rendered report, the exact recipient count, and how many selected clients were excluded. That recipient set is fixed while the preview is open, and the final button stays disabled until the preview finishes loading. If any report fails or is skipped during delivery, the preview stays open and shows the actual sent, failed, and skipped counts. If you retry after a partial result, only the remaining recipients are included, so successful deliveries are not repeated.
Recurring reports can blind-copy you, so a copy lands in your own inbox. Turn on Bcc me on recurring reports under Settings → Notifications & Reminders (off by default). It applies to every recurring send, including Send recurring report now. Send a one-time report is never copied.
For the full send flow, see Sending Equity And Consolidation Reports.
Pausing, Resuming, And Removing
Tick the checkbox on one or more rows (or the header checkbox to select the whole filtered list) and a bar appears at the bottom with Clear, Pause, Resume, and Remove:
- Pause stops sends for the selected clients but keeps them on the list - their status becomes Paused and no report goes out until you resume them. Use it for a client who's mid-deal or asked for a break, without losing their enrollment or cadence.
- Resume turns paused clients back on; the next report sends on their normal cadence again. The bar only shows the action that fits your selection - Pause when something can be paused, Resume when something is paused, both when the selection is mixed. To resume just one client, use the Resume button on their row.
- Remove takes the selected clients off recurring reports entirely.
You can also remove from a profile - toggle off send recurring equity reports on the client's Reports tab.
Every action takes effect immediately. Pausing or removing means they won't receive the next report; the difference is that a paused client stays on the list ready to resume, while a removed client is off recurring reports until you add them again.
